Your privacy matters to us. If you are unhappy with the way we have handled your personal data, whether that is how we collected it, used it, shared it, stored it or deleted it, please let us know. We are committed to investigating your concern fairly and doing our best to resolve it.

How to raise a complaint

You can contact us by email at ciao@playitalianshop.com or via our contact form.
Please include:

  • Your full name and contact details.
  • A description of your concern: what happened, when, and what you think went wrong.
  • Any relevant order numbers, screenshots or previous correspondence.
  • What you would like us to do about it.

You do not need to have all of this ready before you get in touch. Just contact us and we will help you from there.

What to expect from us

  • Within 30 calendar days of receiving your complaint we will confirm receipt in writing and let you know who is handling it.
  • Within one calendar month of receiving your complaint we will send you a full response setting out what we looked into, what we found, and any action we have taken. If your complaint is particularly complex, we may need up to two additional months, and we will let you know within the first month if that is the case.

We do not charge for handling complaints. If a complaint is clearly unfounded or repetitive, we may decline to act on it, but we will always explain our reasons first.

Third-party platforms and suppliers

Some of our services involve third-party tools and platforms. If your concern relates to one of these, you do not need to contact them directly. Just come to us and we will investigate on your behalf.

If you are not happy with our response

You have the right to take your complaint to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at any point. You do not have to wait for us to respond first, though we would always welcome the opportunity to resolve things directly.
