A THOUGHTFUL GIFT FOR THE ITALIAN LEARNER IN YOUR LIFE

Puzzle Books for Someone Who Already Knows Some Italian

Someone you love has already put time into Italian. They’re past the beginner stage, and they’re not starting from scratch.
Maybe they go to an Italian class, or have been learning on their own for a while.
Maybe they studied Italian years ago and would love to pick it up again. Or maybe they have a trip to Italy coming up, or dream of spending more time there.
Whatever brought them to Italian, finding a gift that helps with the language, and that they’ll genuinely enjoy, isn’t always easy.

These puzzle books were made with learners like them in mind.

Three Books, One Relaxed Approach

Each book focuses on a different theme and contains 100 puzzles across a mix of formats, giving them plenty of variety and different ways to practise their Italian vocabulary.

You can give all three together at 20% off, or choose the one that suits them best.
Below, you'll find a little note on who each book might be perfect for.

Vol. 1 - Travel to Italy

A lovely choice if they love visiting Italy or simply love all things Italian.

Airports, hotels, stations and car hire, along with the markets, bars, beaches and piazzas they might find along the way. There’s plenty of Italian food too, from cheeses and cured meats to gelato, and a generous helping of culture, from great artists and Roman history to opera and the regions of Italy.

The 100 puzzles in this book explore  vocabulary inspired by travelling around Italy, helping them become more familiar with Italian words while enjoying the places, food and culture that make the country so special.

Vol. 2 - Home and Family

A lovely choice if they enjoy home life, cooking and time with family.

Life at home, from the kitchen and the garden to housework, hobbies and quiet evenings in. Family relationships, birthdays, weddings and other celebrations, school days and the little routines that fill an ordinary day.

The 100 puzzles in this book explore the vocabulary of everyday life, from familiar words to ones they may not have come across before.

Vol. 3 - Our World

A lovely choice if they’re curious about nature, animals and the world around them.

Trees, flowers, oceans and deserts, along with the creatures that live there, from big cats and birds of prey to insects and life under the sea. There’s plenty of geography too, from continents and mountains to rivers and capitals, plus the seasons, the weather and a little science along the way.

The 100 puzzles in this book explore  vocabulary inspired by nature and the planet we share, helping them become more  familiar with Italian words through the landscapes, wildlife and places that make it so beautiful.

A Gift They'll Enjoy Spending Time With

These aren't traditional Italian workbooks.  Instead of grammar exercises and vocabulary lists to memorise, they offer a different way to practise Italian through puzzles.

Each book contains a mix of word searches, crosswords, word matches, word fits, scrambles and cryptograms. Many puzzles come in easier and more challenging versions, so they can choose what suits them best.

Each format offers a different way to work  with Italian vocabulary, whether that's recognising familiar words, working out clues, practising spelling or discovering new words along the way.

And with complete solutions at the back of every book, there's always a helping hand if they get stuck.

No screens, no notifications, no pressure. Just a pen, a puzzle and a little Italian.

Take a Look Inside

Clean layouts, a good mix of puzzle types, and progress they can see on every page.

From People Who Gave Them as Gifts

  • "I bought all three puzzle books as a Christmas present for my husband, who is learning Italian and is at Intermediate level. He is really  enjoying testing and expanding his range of vocabulary in a fun way, and I often find him immersed in one of the books when he has a
    spare moment."

    C.E.

  • “I bought volume one for my sister who loves doing conversational Italian, she absolutely loves it! Will definitely be buying more volumes.
    So well planned out.”

    Eileen D.

  • “Bought this for my daughter who is teaching herself Italian.  She loves it.
Says it's really  helpful and most importantly fun!”

Are These Books Right for Them?

These puzzle books are designed for people who already know some Italian, whether  they’ve been going to classes, learning on their own or coming back to the language after a break.

They’re well suited to anyone who enjoys word puzzles and would like a different way to practise and grow their vocabulary, alongside whatever else they’re doing to learn.

They’re not designed for complete beginners, and they’re not meant to replace an Italian course. Some words will be familiar, others will be  new, and a dictionary can come in handy along the way.

If that sounds like them, these books could make a lovely gift. Get all three together and save 20%, or choose whichever one feels right.

And if you’re learning Italian too, you might want a copy for yourself. You wouldn’t be the first.
